The Annual Gail Gorin Memorial Turkey Trot has become a mainstay event in the Smithtown community since 2003.  November of 2003 marked the 20th anniversary of the death of Gail Gorin from Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, an aggressive form of leukemia.  Jodi Gorin Kerper, Gail’s daughter and her husband Michael Kerper, took it upon themselves to raise as much money as possible to help other patients and their families when help is needed the most.  It is in Gail Gorin’s name that we proudly support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Join us for the Annual Gail Gorin Memorial Turkey Trot on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009 (Thanksgiving Day).  This is a great way to start the holiday!  All event proceeds benefit
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The event consists of a 5K run (race route officially measured & chip
timed by Tri and Du it Multisport Racing Systems) and a one-mile Family Fun Run. All pre-registered runners are guaranteed a T-shirt!
